E-7-4VISA Extension season is
coming (E7-4 VISA(E7비자)
E7-4 VISA, points based skilled worker's
visa, has started from Last August and its rule has been applied based on 2018
E-7-4 VISA Criteria.
Last year's E7-4 VISA application points
were 50 points only.
And additional points for working
experience at a local province such as Eup or Myeon of Gangwon-do,
Chungcheongnam-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do,
Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do etc. got 10 points if a worker worked at over 2
years. Also TOPIK level 1 got 5 points.
However, E-7-4 VISA in 2018 requires 52
points.
The different points system in 2018 is;
1) required total score is 52 points (if
someone's 2 year's income over 52 mil won),
2) TOPIK Level 2 is 5 points ONLY,
3) working experience at eup, myeon
place over 2 years gets 5 points, 3 years gets 7 points, 4 years gets 10 points
separately.
Also, if you want to extend E-7-4 VISA
this year, you MUST prepare documents as the same as VISA Application for E-7-4
VISA.
It means you have to prepare all
documents just like when you change visa from E-9 visa to E-7-4 visa.
**One of very complicated issues is
whether Immigration Office accepts your points for Education Certificate which
has been submitted to Immigration Office last year or not.
You MUST prepare for all documents in
advance because issuance of Education Certificate takes a long time to get it
from your country with Consular Confirmation if your submitted Education
Certificate is required to submit again with original one.

regarding extension rules once receiving clear Answer from Head Quarter of
Korea Immigration and Policy soon.**
**One of E-7-4 VISA holder gotten E-7-4
VISA from last year has failed to extend his/her E7-4 VISA this April. (VISA
extension may be applied 4 months before VISA expiration.)
**You MUST prepare whole docs with great
care. Because E-7-4 VISA criteria has been changed a lot.
