<<E9 VISA holders Allow To Change to F6 VISA in Korea (Marriage Migrant VISA)>>
E9 visa holders, who are in a
relationship with Korean national, can change their visa to F6 visa (Marriage
Migrant visa) in Korea by a new guide line change for F6 VISA.
A few months ago, it was not allowed to
change E9 visa to F6 visa in Korea due to preventing misuse of F6 visa Change
in Korea.
However, the phenomenon of the
multicultural family has been universalization in Korea so a new policy has
reflected on this current multicultural society trends.
Previously, if E9 visa holders want to
get F6 visa, they have to leave Korea and get F6 visa from the Korean embassy
in their home country.

Requirement*
1) Truthness of Marriage;
2) Language Proficiency (communication);
3) Meet basic income requirements to
maintain a life.
▶ 2. F6 VISA has
a lot of benefits if someone gets this visa.*
1) there is no limitation to get a job;
2) it is possible to open their own
business;
3) allows to work and open their own
business together;
4) it is a possibility to get F5 visa
(permanent residence visa) 2 years after F6 visa acquisition;
5) it is a possibility to apply for
Naturalization 2 years after F6 visa acquisition.
※ From this end of year, someone wants to apply for
Naturalization, he/she MUST get F5 visa.

without F5 visa acquisition.
