One of persons said to me that he went to Immigration Office to extend his F-2-99 visa.
However, he stays with his spouse and children so Officer said that he needs GNI*1 income for the previous year.
IT IS NOT TRUE.
If inly he changed his another visa to F-2-99 visa even though he has a spouse and children(F-1-12 visa) in Korea, he can prove his income for the previous year as 12 times of monthly basic income.
GNI*1 is for when his spouse or/and children have F-2-99 visa.
I am quite surprised that it is still under controversial.
