<<Strategy for Getting Points of E-7-4 VISA for Q3 & Q4>>
As VISA in KOREA has informed about Q2 E-7-4 VISA Cut line (57 points). It means basic application points are 52 points and needs higher points than 52 points for Q3 & Q4 2018.

*1. Income (2 years):
It is based on 2 years as of application period. So if you try to apply for E-7-4 VISA on Q3 or Q4, you may gain additional points through monthly INCOME.
When you submit Q3 (July 2nd) E-7-4 VISA, your income certificate needs Jun 2016 income to May 2018 income.
*2. Education:
It has been changed a bit since 2017. For last year and this January, Immigration accepted a transcript for verification of degree for certain countries such as associate (2 year) and bachelor degree.
However, this Q2 has started to accept ONLY diploma format with a transcript. So, if you have the transcript format, please get Certificate format of your degree for Q3 preparation.
*3. Korean language Ability:
There are two types of Korean language ability verification. One is TOPIK and the other is KIIP.
My private opinion is that if you have TOPIK Level 2, it would be better to apply for KIIP Level 3. KIIP procedure takes long time to complete it. However, as you know, TOPIK Level 3 has a writing test and it is made up of difficult vocabularies.
*4. Installment savings:
If your period of stay with E-9 VISA over 2 years, your monthly installment savings is helpful for you to get additional points. However, this monthly installment savings shall be over 2 years and monthly deposit of installment savings shall be over KRW 800,000 won.
Therefore, check your proper schedule for monthly installment savings.
*5. Root Industry Recommendation Letter:
It is harder to get this letter. As VISA in KOREA has posted before on Facebook page, there are 3 categories to check and maximum points are 10 points.
However, if you apply for that recommendation letter, officers of Root Industry Institution will have an actual inspection through visiting your company.
Usually, this recommendation period will be 1 year and every year when you extend your E-7-4 VISA, you need to renew.
