점수제 구직비자 D-10비자 (D-10 VISA Job Seeking VISA Korea)
The Ministry of Justice is going to introduce and implement "Points based Job Seeking VISA, D-10 VISA" from Monday, October 1, 2018 to support domestic SMEs and Venture companies who are having difficulties in finding talented overseas expats.
D-10 VISA is a job seeking visa which allows talented expats seeking employment in Republic of Korea to work for the specific fields (Especially E-7 VISA etc.)
In the meantime, the previous D-10 VISA's applicants qualification has been strict such as domestic graduation from one of Korean universities (colleges), working experience at Fortune 500 enterprises as well as Times World Top 200 Universities graduators etc.
By introducing the point system for D-10 VISA, it is to be expected the scopre of excellent talented expats by objectifying the items such as age, education, career at his/her home country or abroad, studying abroad as well as Korean language ability.
The New D-10 VISA's main changes are as below:
1. Future applicants for E-1 VISA~ E-7 VISA;
**2. Eligible requirements: The eligible application points shall be 60 or higher points including the basic requirement points over 20 points out of total 180 points.
3. Job seeking period shall be up to Max. 1 year in every 6 month (However, if applicants have been graduated one of colleges or universities, they may have a chance to stay max. 2 years.)

***This new D-10 VISA system will be implemented in together with the current D-10 VISA criteria until this year to prevent any confusing among expats, however, this new D-10 VISA system shall be implemented this new system from January 1, 2019.***

해외 우수인재 유치관련 구직비자 D-10비자 제도 개선
법무부는 오는 10월 1일부터 해외인재 발굴에 어려움을 겪고 있는 국내 중소기업, 벤처기업 등을 지원하기 위해 ‘외국인 점수제 구직비자 (D-10비자)제도’를 도입, 시행합니다.
D-10비자는 국내 전문 직종에 취업하고자 하는 외국인 우수인재에게 일정기간 동안 구직활동을 허용하는 제도입니다.
기존 구직비자제도는 세계500대 기업 근무자, 세계 200대 대학 졸업자 등 그 요건이 까다로워 해당 비자의 신청 자격이 한정되었습니다.
이에 구직비자인 D-10비자는 점수제를 도입하여, 연령, 학력, 국내외 근무경력, 유학경험, 한국어능력 등의 항목을 점수로 객관화하여 우수인재 대상자 범위를 확대하였습니다.
혼란을 방지하기 위해 올 해까지 점수제 구직비자제도와 현행 구직비자 제도를 병행하여 시행하고, 내년 1월 1일부터는 새롭게 변경된 점수제 구직비자로 통합됩니다.
신청조건은 총 180점 중 기본항목 점수가 20점 이상으로 총 득점이 60점 이상이면 신청이 가능합니다.
